Marcel is a middle-aged man, he has spent the past 14 years living with his wife and children and suddenly his wife leaves him for another man. She leaves Marcel with an empty house and from now he will only get to see his kids for the weekends.
This is not how anyone would like to imagine himself at 52. The only friend that Marcel has is Bob; he is an older man, who always wears a cowboy hat and drinks at least one liter of rum everyday. Bob likes to drink beer or wine and they drink together to kill their pain in alcohol. In this movie there might be much depression, alcoholism and broken hearts but most of all one will see the great friendship between these two lonely men.
