CinéDOC-Tbilisi, the International Documentary Film Festival, has been organizing regional film screeningsfor the last five years, with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. The project carries the name CinéDOC on Tour - which is a yearlong program in the South Caucasus consisting of 120 screenings, each followed by a discussion. In the framework of the project, locals from the regions and rural areas are given a unique opportunity to the see creative documentaries from the festival program.
Notably, the project involves a network of regional coordinators consisting of more than 40 coordinators in Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. Notably, CinéDOC on Tour provides various opportunities and contributes to the vibrant cultural life in rural areas. The festival is proud to have successful regional screenings and Mini Festivals throughout the country.
